Jamie Oliver is probably the first drumming cook.
Today we saw a DVD by him in our English class.
It was kind of cool and made us...hungry (;
Jamie Oliver is a cool guy. He cooks and is a drummer in a band aswell.
Really smooth that he links those two, cooking and music.
What I learned from this film are some english slangwords like "doggybag" and "to dive in".
I also know the names of some herbs and spices now.
I think this was a good lesson and we should do things like that more often.

Kind of awesome!?
Hey readers!
The most used slangword in america has to be awesome!
Every young american uses it...'That's awesome!", "Awesome maaan!", "Pretty awesome"
I guess the word awesome was invented by McDonalds...as often-used as it is...
Well...I think it's funny..;D

English is in Computers?
Howdy!
Today I'm gonna write about how you can train your English if you decompose a computer.
In the last INFO-lesson, we did this. All the pieces have english names. If you're a computer technician you probably have to speak English quite well. Did you know what's an 'Integrated Device Electronics-Cable'? Or simply a 'Mainboard'? No? An IDE-Cable is there to interconnect all the pieces of the computer. 'Mainboard' is in fact the central of the computer. You can also call it 'Motherboard'. There are lots of other pieces with English names, but I won't explain them all. I think you can google them by yourself ;-)
Hope you learned something!
Yours Johannes

Writing songs
Hey my readers! (If I have any)
It has been a long time between my last blog-entry and this.
Today I wanna say something about writing songs in english.
Me and my friend Lukas Reichert really write lots of songs for our band "The Soulmates".
Most of them are in English, because it sounds better.
You can listen to two of them on youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/MrJokoh
I think I made a big grammar-mistake in one of my last songs.
Miss Berger, if you read this, would you be so kind to tell me, if it is allowed to say "get friends" ("Freunde werden"), or if you can only say "become friends"
Cheers!

Southpark
Southpark is one of the TV-Series I like to watch in English. On www.southpark.de you can watch every episode either in German or in English. I watch them more often in English, 'cause it's the original! Of corse it's sometimes hard to understand, but I think you can get it. (I think it GOES!^^)
One of the latest episodes is a parody of the american TV-Series Jersey Shore. I think it's very funny. Take a look at it!
